The following are among the most important students of Dudjom Rinpoche and holders of the Dudjom Tersar lineage (in alphabetical order):

↑ Katok Ontrul Rinpoche was the assistant of Dudjom Rinpoche in the 1960's, and the head lama of Kathok Monatsery. He became a well-known yogi from Buthan, and passed away recently amids signs of realization. First he announced he was going to rest, and he then secluded himself. He died shortly after. When his body was discovered, it had begun to shrink, and lights appeared. After the cremation, relics were found.
↑ Lama Chime Namgyal was the father of Khenpo Palden Sherab and Khenpo Tseang Dongyal.
↑ Raya Tulku was the reincarnation of Gechag Tsangyant Gyamtso, a renowed crazy wisdom yogi of the late 19th century.
↑ Tam Shek-wing (1935-) is a Buddhist scholar, painter, poet, writer and social critic. He received systematic training of the nyingma tradition under the guidance of Dudjom Rinpoche. He is the founder of the Sino-Tibetan Buddhist Studies Association in North America, and the Chief Academic Consultant for the Monograph Series in Sino-Tibetan Buddhist Studies."
↑ Yölmo Lama Dawa was a student of Dudjom Rinpochee in Nepal. He did a retreat in the center founded by Chatral Rinpoche in Yangleshö, the secret land of Guru Rinpoche.
